Bold Blue Bathroom Reveal

We’re excited to kick off the New Year with a drop dead gorgeous (if we do say so) bathroom reveal. This guest bathroom project started in early 2020 and finished up a few weeks into the pandemic. We didn’t actually get to photograph it until the end of the year, so it’s been a long time coming. And we couldn’t be more excited to share it!

The Before

What started as the client needing a new, more durable vanity for her kids, turned into a wonderful opportunity to update the whole space. As you can see the bathroom was in need of some brightening up. Since moving plumbing would push this out of budget, we decided to make some cosmetic updates that could pack a big punch.

Our hit list included:

new vanity with durable Quartz countertop
an easy way to clean the walls around the sink and toilet, because KIDS
3-light wall sconce
clean marble floors and update with lighter grout
remove faux finish from walls
find a modern, slim toilet
replace corner shower doors and hardware
fill the awkward corner space

Awhile back we had posted some inspiration for this bathroom. Though the final design board looks a little different, it is still bold and beautiful.

The Bathroom Reveal

This is one of those a little bit goes a long way bathroom reveals. You can never go wrong with crisp blue and white. And this blue tile is just stunning. By using a stacked pattern we were able to keep the style fresh and modern. The corner is awkward no more, now filled with plants and an extra towel hook.
